Connect us to fresh produce

Together, we feed hope.

As part of Project Neighbor’s Table, we are seeking fresh produce that can be obtained free or at significantly discounted rates.

If you are a farmer, grower, supplier, distributor, or if you know someone who is — would you message us?

We will gladly coordinate pick-up with our volunteers.

No amount is too small.

Every crate of produce helps feed families right here in our community.

Venison Donation Program Information

Hunting season is upon us, and we want to share some facts about venison donations.

There is a grant that reimburses venison processors for venison donations at $3.50/lb.

We can accept venison donations, if they meet the following requirements:

  • No matter how the member receives the venison, whether it is purchased or donated, Foodlink members can only accept and distribute venison that has been killed with a bow or non-lead ammunition, and the label must say "bow or non-lead ammo." Deer killed with lead ammo are not accepted due to the risk of lead poisoning.
  • Roadkill deer are never accepted
  • Package label needs to include:
  • Name and address of processor
  • Marked "Not for Sale" (if donated)
  • Venison
  • Date
  • Hunter License Number
  • Carcass number
  • Bow or non-lead ammo
  • Venison needs to be in 1 to 2 lb. packages (if donated)

The reimbursement will happen through Foodlink/Feeding NYS.

Hunters can also claim a charitable donation on their taxes if they donate, and Foodlink can help them with this.
